As cannabis grows in popularity, demand grows as well. Companies create new strains to meet consumer demand and include added features to enhance flavor or presentation.

Many of these new strains are introduced at specific times for promotion, so it is not a continuous source of strain quality. However, if you are looking for a new cannabis strain to try, then this is an added bonus!

You have the freedom to try different breeders‘ offsprings and their siblings because at this stage, they are available as seeds and packages.

Fuel oil

As opposed to CBD strains that are designated “zener” or “zero THC” strains, many Spanish leathers are full-spectrum, with a moderate amount of THC. These strains are known as fuel oil strains.

This is a trend seen in California as well, where these kinds of strains are more common than ever before. Many consumers cite this flavor as being similar to kief, but with much less bitterness.

Since these strains do have a slight flavor themselves, some recipes use them to create cannabis cocktails or directions for edibles that use them. For instance, the classic hogan high is mixed with oil of wintergreen and tastes like an immersive, strong oil of wintergreen relaxer.

As seen with the appearance of new cannabis products using this style strain, consumers continue to demand it.

Cherry cough syrup

There are many cannabis strains that taste like cough medicine such as cherry cough syrup or orange flavored cough medicine. These flavors are created by using certain chemicals in the plants that mimic the effects of drugs such as Xanax or Aspirin.

Some of these drug-like compounds include cannabidiol (CBD), anticholinergic compounds, and terpene molecules. CBD is a non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant.

It does not act like an antidepressant, but can help reduce side effects of other medications. CBD has been found to reduce symptoms of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, which is why it is being used more and more today.

It also has the potential to reduce symptoms of pain, according to research. When combined with THC, these drug-like components can add flavor to the cannabis so users do not forget what they are ingesting.

Diesel

The classic diesel scent is strong and persistent. This is not a smell that goes away in growing seasons, even as the plants get bigger.

The subtle flavor profiles found in diesel strains make it hard to pinpoint what flavor you are getting. Some people say it has a meaty or beefy flavor, others say it has a salty taste, and still others say it has an herbal flavor.

While some people find the scent overwhelming, that does not matter when you are looking for something to perk up your mood. A strong enough smell can make people feel overdressed, so wearing loose-fitting clothing is a good idea.

Kush

With close to 40 years of terpene profiling, there are now more than a handful of cannabis strains that feature strong and unusual flavor profiles. This is due in part to the introduction of Kush, the first major trendsetter in this area.

Kush was created in the 1970s by researchers as an attempt to create a new generation of drugs that were less addictive than other medications at the time. During that time, drug designers were looking for specific flavor profiles in plants to attract new users.

Today, there are over 10 different strains named Kush, with some having unique look and feel as well. These include ipla-pla,lookout, kushafornia, marijuanatree, pot brownie, and sirena.

Tangie

Tangie is a loosely referred to as an inhalant, or a drug without a active principle. Tangible objects are required for tangie ingestion. These include pellet form, liquid dropper, and capsule forms.

Tangible objects for vaporization of cannabis oil include baggie, bong, and Volcano tube. Vape pens do not requirefully require cannabis oil to operate. However, some people have trouble getting the oil to flow properly into the vape pen due to improper user instruction.

Another complaint about tangie users is that they sometimes feel compelled to overuse it due to its potent effects. This can lead to overusing it which can cause feelings of euphoria, buttery smoothness, and drowsiness. These effects can last hours after using it!

If you find yourself feeling more relaxed and comfortable after using tangie, then you might need more of it.

Super lemon haze

When a cannabis plant is flowering, it produces distinctive yellow and green leaves. Some plants look like grasses, while others look like ferns.

What Makes This Flavor Phenomenon Interesting? As mentioned earlier, some cannabis plants produce a flavor profile that is very distinct. This flavor is called terpenes-like properties.

Terpenes-like properties are what give marijuana its characteristic flavor. When these characteristics are present in the same plant, it is likely that you will find two different flavors competing for attention.

This is not the case with lemon haze THC-dominant strains, which have a very mild and subtle aroma.

Green crack

There are a handful of cannabis plant strains that feature uniquely green or chlorophyll flavored profiles. These plants are typically referred to as green marijuana, since many of them do not grow well and are produced in small amounts before flowering.

These chlorophyll plants can sometimes be extremely expensive, so most growers splurge on one of these favored strains. Some even consider it a waste of money!

But how is this? Why would someone pay money for something they can’t really feel? Well, there are two ways to take advantage of this.

The first is to use a machine that delivers the plant material into the grow room via pipes. This allows you to touch and feel the plants as they are developed, and possibly enjoy them for their unique green flavor profile.

Girl scout cookies

In the summer time, practically every home in America has a box of cookie or cake mix. Those are pretty culturally important foods, right? These mixes come in a variety of flavors such as chocolate chip, coconut raisin, and blueberry.

Once you get the hang of making them, you will be making them a lot. This is good! They are also called crumb cakes because you can use whatever toppings you like on them.

Some crumb cake recipes call for adding whipped cream or some kind of topping on top of the cake. Other recipes call for creating a crumb layer on top of the cookie itself. Either way, this flavor profile is nice and strong.
